Amistad, Caregiver news.
It is hard to believe but we only have two more months to go before the fisical year is over.
We have have helped alot of people and look foward to helping more. Remember if you know anyone that needs help taking care of a relative or friend over 60. We can help. Just contact Ben at 214-826-8686, remember to leave a message, if I'm out of the office. If you do not feel comfortable calling the church office you can get direct help by calling 211 on your phone. This will connect you to the state wide caregiver hot line. They should be able to put you intouch with someone that can help you.
Finally, lets remember the friends and relatives we lost this year and thank the caregivers at our churches that have worked so hard to make their quality of life better.

Funding: Amistad caregiver program is funded by a grant through the Dallas Area Agency on Aging (DAAA). The last two years' funding has been decreased and your donations would be appreciated in helping continue this ministry program.

With the help of Conchita Franco, Amistad has submitted a grant proposal to the Rio Grande Conference. Thank you Conchita, for your help in this area.
