Amistad, Caregiver news.
This month I'm on the receiving end of caregivers. I never realized how humbling it is, to have to ask someone to help you bring in you lap-top everyday because you can't carry it. I can't even bring an open drink into the church or house without help because of the swinging movement of the cruches. So when your working with someone not as sharp as yourself or you can't get the exact information from that elderly caregiver your talking to, just remember one day, YOU will be the slower person. It may not be because of a broken ankle, like in my case, but age catches all of us sooner or later. I pray, on that day that you have a circle of careing and loving church freinds and relatives, like myself, to lean on. Thank all of you for the help, not just in Amistad but also in NHA, Boy scouts, EDCP, CMT's and at home.

Funding: Amistad caregiver program is funded by a grant through the Dallas Area Agency on Aging (DAAA). The last two years' funding has been decreased and your donations would be appreciated in helping continue this ministry program.
